Continuing our tradition of displaying at least a few new apps every week that have just been released to the app store, we present to you another Weekly App Bonanza. Today we have a few goodies lined up for you, Bobby Carrot 2, Flu Fighter, and the one I’m most excited about, Kakuro.
- Bobby Carrot 2 [iTunes Link] – Bobby Carrot 2 continues the Bobby Carrot series for the iPhone. This is another wide audience puzzle game which is extraordinarily hard. Any puzzle fan needs to pick up an app from the Bobby Carrot Series. Screenshots here
- Flu Fighter [iTunes Link] – Flu Fighter is an addicting colourful variation of Tetris. Unfortunately it can be a bit of a drag to play… Screenshots here
- Kakuro [iTunes Link] – If you’re a fan of sudoku but looking for an even greater challenge, then Kakuro is going to be your best friend. I was completely psyched when I saw this application and it did not disappoint. Screenshots here

It’s that time again where we look at some apps that have been released this week and look promising.
- Deluxeware Bowling [iTunes Link] – We’ll start with Deluxeware Bowling, this is probably the most realistic bowling experience on the iPhone I’ve played. Unfortunately there’s some physics glitches with the touch control. A great start to a great bowling game though. Screenshots here

- Lock n Roll Pro [iTunes Link] – Ladies and gentlemen, this is a fantastic dice strategy game. Highly recommended, buy it now. Although see for yourself, there’s a lite version here. Screenshots here

- Mahjong Epic [iTunes Link] – If you’re a fan of Mahjong you must get this app, best mahjong on the iPhone that I’ve seen. Screenshots here

- Pinball Dreaming [iTunes Link] – Being disappointed with other pinball games this was a nice surprise for the iPhone. With a few improvements here and there Pinball Dreaming will be an app everyone should have. Pinball fans, get this gem now! Screenshots here

Weekly App Bonanza – Jan 21st to Jan 27th 2009
Posted on 27. Jan, 2009 by iPhone App Reviewer.
Every week we’ll compile a small list of fantastic apps that have come out this week. So to get right to it…
- Archers [iTunes Link] – Archers is an archery game where you must figure out the angles and power to bring down your opponent. The cartoon graphics are perfect and with extra settings this game is perfect for easily killing time. We hear that the next update will include lots of gameplay updates! Get this while it’s only a buck! Screenshots here

- Hellfire [iTunes Link] – Hellfire is a unique app with fantastic 3D graphics in which you take control of a USA or USSR helicopter and fight out many different missions. Mostly consisting of taking out tanks and buildings with rockets and collecting your prisoners of war Hellfire brings exciting fun. There are some improvements that could be made but we’re sure the developer will come out with an update. For now, I highly recommend Hellfire to any action packed flight simulator fan. - Brave Prince [iTunes Link] – An amazing version of ‘15 Piece Slide Puzzles’ with great cartoon graphics and a short storyline. In my opinion it’s geared more towards female audiences but any fans of similar puzzle games should enjoy it! Definitely worth checking out. More screenshots here

- Game of the Generals [iTunes Link] – Game of the Generals is a strategy game that currently can only be played by two player wi-fi (single player coming in next update). If you have a friend with an iPod Touch or iPhone this is the perfect strategy game for killing time. Only a buck. Screenshots here

More coming every week! Stay tuned =)
